What makes you different from other photographers?
We understand the amount of trust you will be putting in us on your wedding day so we take that responsibility very seriously - we know that there are no redos on the big day!

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?
In our 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, we’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that one or both of us are unable to photograph your wedding, we’ll make sure you’re covered by one of our colleagues and also provide you with a list of photographers from our network, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Have you shot a wedding at my venue?
We may have - we have shots hundreds of weddings across the New England area. If we have not been to your particular venue it is not a problem. We are happy to do a walk through with you before the wedding so you can show us your favorite spots and we can check out the lighting situation and access what we need to be aware of. Also we are happy to provide you with a gallery of images that show a similar feel to your venue. Shooting at a new venue is always a treat for us - we see potential with new eyes and are able to be creative and original for you while getting it right based on our years of experience.
Do you offer video?
We do not offer video because we prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. We do provide you with a list of amazing videographers we have worked with over the years that do great work.
How long will it take to see our pictures?
Our turnaround time varies by season. We always send a "Sneak Peek" of about a dozen images within a day or two. Typically, you’ll be receive your final photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding at which time you can download them, share with your loved ones, and order prints.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we’ll send that over to them.
Do you work with assistants or other photographers?
Since we are co-owners we always shoot your wedding together, so you will get more photos and a greater variety compared to a single photographer (even with an assistant) Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes - we are happy to travel anywhere. If your wedding is beyond 100 miles round trip from Boston, we ask for a modest hotel room for the night of the wedding. If a location requires air travel we may need more than one night of accommodation in addition to airfare.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Absolutely! We are always available to stay longer if necessary. Extra time is based on our hourly rate and will be prorated for any time less than a full hour.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You can order prints anywhere, but we do recommend going through us and the professional lab we partner with to get the best quality print products.
Can we include our dog in our engagement session and/or wedding?
Of course! We love dogs (we have two of our own) so anytime our couples want to include them we are all for it. We recommend bringing a friend or family member to help out, and we can also refer you to a company that provides pet care service on the wedding day.
OUR PROCESS
- After you have booked with us you will receive a planning guide full of tips for each part of the day. We've been doing this a long time and have seen it all so we want to pass on all that helpful knowledge to you.
- You will fill out a family/wedding party photo checklist so on the day you don't need to remember all the combos you want - that's our job!
- If you do an engagement session with us we will have you send us a list of likes/dislikes so on your wedding day we know exactly what you are looking for.
- We are happy to do a walk through of your venue leading up to the wedding so you can show us all your favorite spots and we will make a plan for inclement weather.
- Finally, we will write up a detailed photo timeline for the wedding day so everyone knows where they need to be and when they need to be there. We also make sure we allow buffer time throughout the day so you never feel rushed - you can enjoy being surrounded by all the people you love, and most importantly each other.
